Because jogging can accommodate all fitness levels, you can start as slow or as fast as your comfortable with, which means your doctor will most likely encourage you to give it a try. Some conditions will require you to take special precautions, though, which is why you should consult your doctor first.

You are probably running or jogging to become fitter, and weight loss is probably on your mind, too. If you want to get the maximum benefits from your jogging, you must keep an eye on the calories you consume. When you eat a clean diet, you will not only drop those pesky pounds, but you'll also have all the fuel you need to get through your run. Merely cutting the amount of calories you eat, and keeping away from too much junk food and sweet foods, you will give yourself much more energy for your running routine.
